I had a good 50 of these on a mule a few months back until I sold just about every collectible item I had to clear up space. :\

God only knows why, but I did the same a couple months back, and ditched all my collectibles that didn't have good rewards (hero weapons - armor sux w/o insignia).
For some reason, I saved my 90 jade bracelets, but after looking at the collector items, I'm not quite sure why (most prolly an oversight - 20/20 prot staff?!?)...

I collected them because they craft into armor which you can then salvage into cloth (when cloth was kinda pricey), plus the weapons aren't that bad for heroes. After I stopped caring about the cloth it was mostly out of habit.
Had enough lying around to supply my boyfriend and myself with bracelets for our main and mule accounts, 40 presents open, best thing was a keg. One day I'll get an IDS...

Been lazy these past two weeks and haven't farmed any of the collectible drops. I've bought all the drops and had rubbish that I've sold to sweet/alcohol people. Best things I've ever had from Nicholas have been an Icy Dragon Sword and Keg of Ale which I sold straight away. I don't even want anything from him really, I do it for the novelty factor - oh and tonics are sometimes fun when drunk (real life) in towns.

I got another Ascalon Razor this week. That makes two of those, one on each of my accounts.

I have problem or routine [name it however you want] that whenever I come home drunk, I take some book [if I can see letters, offcourse]. Sometimes even game, but I stopped doing that after i rushed in middle of VQ into enemies and wiped us [several times ]

wow, almost 4 days without a post on this thread, nick gifts are tanking in value (see WTS at 3.5k now), and last week was arguably the easiest/lamest collectible (besides red irises)....Had anet better step up the farming difficulty of this week's collectible, or is this just another symptom of interest waning in a dying game??

I would chalk it up more to:
What more is there to talk about with Nicholas other than once a week discussing "Where is he today, what is he collecting?"
I mean, there is 142 pages in this thread....

i think since this was triple lockpick/key and unluck/luck weekend everyone was doing that. and good i hope his gifts get cheaper. i'm sorry but paying 5k for a gift only to get 10 sparklers sucks!
